Ballroom Dance Scene

Designed for Dancers by Dancers

Ballroom and Latin dancing are both an art and a sport like no other and demands nutrition just as specialised. Yet dance nutrition is often undervalued and under researched. Competitive dancing places immense stress on the body, combining precise and highly controlled movement with stamina, strength, and cardiovascular endurance. This unique mix sets dancers apart from athletes in weightlifting, running, or team sports.

As a doctor and a ballroom dancer, I was convinced that the should be a better way. I wanted clarity on how to properly support my body to improve my dancing. I didn’t want to take supplements packed with ingredients I had never heard of and I didn’t want artificial sweeteners, flavourings, and colourings.

This is why we founded GoSway - convenient, evidence-based nutritional supplements created specifically for dancers. Every ingredient we include is scientifically proven to work, used in meaningful amounts, and our supplements are flavoured with real fruit powders – nothing artificial or unnecessary. The formula is tailored to the unique physical demands of dance, and designed with the dancer, you, in mind. With sachets you can take on the go, we make dance-focused nutrition an easy routine.

Our Promise

01

No unnecessary ingredients

Each of our meticulously chosen ingredients are scientifically proven to show positive effects in the overall endurance and strength in athletes as well as improve recovery from strenuous exercise. As part of our development process, we consulted sports nutrition experts, qualified pharmacists and doctors to ensure the efficacy and safety of our formula.

We aim to educate our customers on sports supplements,  and raise awareness on your daily nutritional requirements. If you are curious and want to learn more, please see our Ingredients section for a breakdown of our formula and detailed descriptions of each individual ingredient we use.

The dancer at heart

To develop our formulations we collaborate with dancers from a variety of disciplines and continuously use GoSway products ourselves. Because of these partnerships we are confident that we are creating effective products that are truly unique.

Our signature stick packaging was chosen by listening to feedback from our customers that value convenience as other solutions in the market were typically described as 'inconvenient', 'messy' and 'too much hassle'. We make no compromise for convenience and offer single use, environmentally friendly sachets.

03

Highest quality standards

We have strict standards when it comes to the products that we produce and never compromise on quality. With this in mind, we spent significant time researching and talking to numerous food supplement manufacturers. Our products are manufactured by Rocket Science Nutrition, a UK based supplement manufacturer with 25 years of expertise in formulation, manufacturing and quality assurance. We truly appreciate their support during our lengthy product development process. With our strict standards, their powder blend formulation expertise and mutual determination we managed to create a truly unique formula that has resulted in a final product that is effective, refreshing and tastes great!

"When training for competitions I researched for effective supplements for myself, but it was very inconvenient to carry several tubes of different powders and pills with me every day to make the most of it, and frankly, it is just quite complicated to manage it all when your priority is dancing."

Sarunas attained his MSc degree in Drug Discovery and Development in London, UCL School of Pharmacy and currently specialises in laboratory and hospital automation.

"Balanced supplementation and fundamental strength and conditioning training is a necessary foundation to achieve  top results in competitive sports. This is more widely recognised today as athlete education in sport nutrition is improving."
